There will be a number of road closures across West Somerset this month. See the full details in this week's West Somerset Free Press.
Below are the latest closures declared by Somerset County Council:
Leeford Road in the parish of Upton is set to close this month. The closure will start from the junction with the B3190 Village Hill and run east for 1376 metres. The closure will come into force on March 23 at 7 30am and conclude by 6pm on the same day.
Parsons Street in the parish of Porlock is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin on Parsons Street 41 metres north from the junction with Doverhay, and go north for 100 metres. The closure will come into force on March 21 and conclude on March 24.
Escott Lane in the parish of Stogumber is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin on Escott Lane from a point 555 metres north from the junction with Stogumber to Beech Tree Cross, northwards for 31 metres. The closure will come into force on March 20 and are set to conclude by March 24.
King Edward Road in the parish of Minehead is set to be closed this month. The closure will start from the junction with Ponsford Road and go West for 50 metres. The closure will come into force on March 23 and last until March 31. Works will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
The Avenue in the parish of West Quantoxhead is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin from the junction with Broken Edge to the junction with Staple Lane for 84 metres. The closure will come into effect on March 6 and are expected to be completed by March 8.
St Michaels Road in the parish of Minehead is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin from the junction with Church Road easterly for 26 metres. The order will come into force on March 3 and end by March 6. Works will take place between the hours of 8am and 11pm.
Irnham Road in the parish of Minehead is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin along Irnham Road from the junction with Tregonwell Road in a westerly direction for 80 metres. The order will come into force on March 6 and conclude by March 10.
The Combe Sydenham to Elworthy and Elworthy to Elworthy Cross route in the parish of Elworthy is set to be closed this month. The closure will run from the junction with Elworthy Lane north for 736 metres and Elworthy to Elworthy Cross from the junction with Elworthy Lane south east for 336 metres. The order will come into force on March 3 and conclude by March 9. Works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
