There will be a number of road closures across West Somerset this month. See the full details in this week's West Somerset Free Press. 

Below are the latest closures declared by Somerset County Council:

Hill View Road in the parish of Carhampton will be closed this month. The closure will begin on April 24 and last until April 28. The closure will start from the junction with Park Lane and travel southwards for 56 metres.

Burrow Road in the parish of Wootton Courtenay will be closed this month. The closure will begin on April 11 at 9.30am and finish by 3.30pm on the same day. The closure will begin 830 metres north west of the junction with Waydowne Lane, and continue north west for 253 metres.

Edgemoor Road in the parish of Minehead will be closed this month. The closure will begin on April 11 and finish by April 14. The closure will begin from th junction with Combeland Road and go south for 52 metres. Works will take place between 8am and 5pm.

Dunster Steep New Steep, Doverhay and High Street in the parish of Porlock will be closed this month. The closure will begin on April 24 and last until April 28. The closure will start along Dunster Steep New Steep - from the junction with Dunster Steep, south-westwards for a distance of 35 metres, into Doverhay - from the junction with Dunster Steep New Steep, south-westwards for a distance of 80 metres, into High Street - from the junction with Doverhay, westwards for a distance of 260 metre. Works will take place between 6.30pm and 11.30pm.

Great House Street in the parish of Timberscombe will be closed this month. The closure will begin on April 24 and end on April 25. The closure will start 22 metres north of the junction with Willow View and go north for 100 metres. Works will take place between the hours of 7am and 3.30pm.

Luccombe Road in the parish of Luccombe will be closed this month. The closure will begin on April 10 at 9.30 am and end by 3.30pm on the same day. The closure will start from the junction with Chisland Lane and go north west for 960 metres. Works will take place between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
