There will be a number of road closures across West Somerset this month. See the full details in this week's West Somerset Free Press. 

Below are the latest closures declared by Somerset County Council:

Oare to Oare Post in the parish of Oare is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin at 8am on May 22 and finish at 4pm on the same day. The closure will begin 2150 metres from the junction with Porlock to Lynton Road and travel south east for 145 metres. Hinkley Point Road in the parish of Stogursey will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 5 and last until June 8. Works will take place between 9pm and 6am. The closure will begin north of the junction with Hinkley Point roundabout, and continue north for 129 metres.

Abbey Road in the parish of Old Cleve will be closed this month. The closure will begin on May 25 and last until May 26. The closure will start from the junction with the Minehead to Williton Road and continue south for 6 metres. Marshfield Road in the parish of Minehead will be closed next month. The closure will take place on June 5. Works will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The closure will start along Marshfield Road, 92 metres north east of the junction with Silvermead, for a total distance of 20 metres. Roebuck Gate Lane in the parish of Crowcombe will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 5 and last until June 23. The closure will stretch from the junction with Flaxpool Hill to the junction with Roebuck Gate Lane. Monks Path in the parish of Old Cleve will be closed this month. The closure will begin on May 22 and last until May 26. The closure will start 100 metres north west of the junction with Manor Park and continue north west for 37 metres. Woolston Lane in the parish of Bicknoller will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 10 and last until June 19. Works will take place between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm. The closure will start from the junction with Cottiford Road and travel south west for 734 metres. Timberscombe to Couple Cross in the parish of Timberscombe will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 6 at 9.30am and finish by 3.30pm on the same day. The closure will start 1056 metres north of the junction with Couple Cross to Beech Tree and continue north for 949 metres. Lowe Bilbrook Lane to Monks Path in the parish of Old Cleve will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 6 and last until June 9. The closure will start 125 metres south west of the junction with Rectory Road and continue south west for 48 metres. Yard Ash Lane in the parishes of Bicknoller and Stogumber will be closed this month. He closure will begin on May 26 and last until May 29. The closure will start along Yard Ash Lane, from the junction with Newton Lane, and last for 440 metres. Northmoor Road in the parish of Dulverton will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 7 at 7am and finish by 3.30pm the same day. The closure will start along Northmoor Road, 145 metres north of the junction with The Paddock – and continue north for 668 metres. 

Knighton Lane in the parish of Stogursey will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 5 and finish on June 6. Works will take place between the hours of 7am and 3.30pm. The closure will begin along Knighton Lane, 363 metres north of the junction with Shurton Road, and continue north for 107 metres. 

Villes Lane in the parish of Porlock will be closed next month. The closure will begin on June 6 and finish by June 9. The closure will start along Villes Lane, 23 metres south of the junction with Bay Road and continue south for 40 metres.
