Here all the upcoming road closures set to affect West Somerset:

There is set to be a temporary road closure in the Parish of Timberscombe. The closure will be in place along the Dunster to Timberscombe road, from the junction with Clouds Steep southwards for 383 metres. The closure will take effect from January 27 and should end by February 2. 

Bremis Road in the parish of Dunster is set to be closed next month. The closure will affect a 100-metre span east from the junction with Marsh Street. The closure will commence on February 13 and conclude on February 17. The closure will enable Wessex Water to carry out a new connection. 

Next month there will be a temporary closure of Machine Cross, Jury Hill and Jury road in the parish of Brompton Regis. The closure prohibits vehicles from travelling along the roads from the junction with Amory Road eastwards for 1610 metres. Works will commence on February 13 and conclude on February 24. 

There will be a temporary road closure in the parish of Stogumber next month. Station road will be closed from the junction with Quantock View north-westwards for a distance of 10 metres. The closure will be in force between February 13 and February 17 while Wessex Water carry out supply separation work. 

Whitefield Road, Whitefield Rocks, Forches Cross to Cordings Ball and Forches Cross to Holcombe Water, of the Wiveliscombe parish, will close this month. The closure will span 5300 metres commencing from the junction with Langley Marsh Road, northwards. The works will begin on January 27 and are set to conclude until March 24. 

There will be road closures across the Stogumber, Sampford Brett and Bcknoller parishes from January 30 to February 9. Closures in place from the junction with Brook Street to the junction with Stogumber to Beech Tree cross; Brook Street from the junction with Shute Street to the junction with Swapits Close; Shute Street from the junction with Old Way, south eastwards incorporating Hill Farm Road for a distance of 90 metres Escott Lane from the junction with Stogumber to Beech Tree Cross to the junction with Vellow Road; and Stogumber to Beech Tree Cross - from the junction with Escott Lane to the junction with Old Way. 

Ash Lane in the Parish of Winsford will be closed next month. The road will be closed 1950 metres eastwards from the junction with Room Hill Road for a total distance of 733 metres. The closure will take effect from February 15 at 8am and conclude at 4pm the same day.

Worthy Road in the parish of Porlock will be closed for 9 days next month. The closure will start from the junction with Lane Head north westwards for a total distance of 300 metres. The works will begin on February 16 and are set to be competed by February 24. The closure will enable Wessex Water to carry out works on sewer renovation. 

Next month Withycombe Lane in the parish of Withycombe will be closed for 3 days. Traffic will be blocked from travelling along Withycombe Lane - 400 metres north-westwards from the junction with Culver Lane, for a further distance of 101 metres. The closure will come into force on February 15 and is set to conclude by February 17 while Wessex Water carry out disconnection works. 

This month there will be a road closure affecting Bridge Street in the parish of Williton. The closure will commence from the junction with High Street westwards for a total distance of 50 metres. The road will be shut between January 30 and February 3 while Wessex Water repair a fire hydrant.  

Cleeve Hill in the Parish of Watchet will be closed between February 3 and August 2 2024, a total of 547 days. The closure will begin on Cleeve Hill, from 5 metres west of the junction with Saxon Close westwards for a distance of 220 metres. The closure is in place to enable Somerset County Council to carry out safety works around cliff stability.
