There will be a number of road closures across West Somerset this month. See the full details in this week's West Somerset Free Press. 

Below are the latest closures declared by Somerset County Council:

Sparkhayes Lane in the parish of Porlock will be closed this month. The closure will begin on February 27 and end by March 3. The closure will start from the junction with Furzeland Road southwards for 42 metres. Works will take place between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm.

Burgundy Road and church Path in the parish of Minehead will be closed next month. The closure will begin on March 13 and will end by March 31. The closure will start on Burgundy Road from the junction with Beacon Road to the junction with St Michaels Road and Church Path - from the junction with Martlet Road south and then eastwards for 137 metres.

Stogumber Road in the parishes of Stogumber and Crowcombe will be closed this month. The closure will begin on February 27 and last until March 1. The road will be closed to traffic from the junction with Castelake Lane eastwards for 167 metres.

Crowcombe Road in the parish of Crowcombe will be closed next month. The closure will begin on March 14 and last until March 27. The closure will start from the junction with Taunton Road to the junction with Pound Orchard for 874 metres.

High Street, Hill Street and Deane Close in the parish of Stogumber will be closed this month. The closure will start on February 27 and last until March 10. The closure will stretch from the junction with Vellow Road eastwards for a total distance of 80 metres; Hill Street - from the junction with Deane Close, westwards for a total distance of 150 metres; and Deane Close - from the junction with Hill Street, southwards for a total distance of 110 metres. Works will be carried out between 8 am and 6 pm.

Porlock Weir Road in the parish of Porlock will be closed this month. The closure will begin on February 27 and finish by March 3. The closure will begin 160 metres north of the junction with Tor Road north-westwards for 200 metres.

The Broad Oak Hil to Roebuck Gate Lane and Station Road route in the parish of Crowcombe will be closed this month. The closure will begin on February 28 and last until March 13. The closure will begin on Broad Oak Hill from the junction with Boarpath Lane to the junction with Station Road; Broad Oak Hill to Roebuck Gate Lane - from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Roebuck Gate Lane; and Station Road - from the junction with Broad Oak Hill to the junction with the A358 Flaxpool Hill for a distance of 2633 metres.
