LANCE Corporal Steve Hunt, from Horsen Farm, Simonsbath, has won the British Army Individual Motorcycle Enduro and Trials Championships, held over two days at Catterick.

And from Monday, October 30 to November 4 he will be a member of the British Army Motorcycle Enduro Team in the international six day enduro being held in Granada, Spain.

This is Steve's third year in the team, having previously won silver medals in Australia and Portugal.

The six day event is one of the world's toughest enduros, with over 500 competitors taking part from all over the globe.

Steve, 24, is riding a Honda XR 400 which he solely maintains throughout competition. He is currently stationed with the REME at Warminster.
