Porlock Vale's Repair Cafe is coming to the Allerford Village Hall on Saturday February 25.
The Repair Cafe offers free repairs and asks only for voluntary donations in return. The non-profit organisation has the ability to carry out a wide range of repairs.
The Cafe repairs electrical goods, such as kettles, toasters and CD players, and also has a sewing team who can repair garments and other fabric materials.
Stephen Colson, who celebrates his 61st birthday on Thursday, and is a trustee of the group told the Free Press: "We have repaired 83% of everything that has been brought in so far. We have repaired over 400kg of items in just under a year."
The volunteer group aim to provide a repair service and help the environment by saving items from being discarded in landfill.
The Porlock Vale repair Cafe will be at the Allerford Village Hall on February 25 between 10 am and 12 pm.
The mobile repair group will also attend Porlock Village hall on March 25, Wooton Courtenay Village Hall on April 29 and Porlock Village Hall again on June 10.
