Former BBC Points West Correspondent Clinton Rogers is bringing his band back to the Regal Theatre in Minehead next month – after a break of three years.

Cleverly Everly and the 60s Tribute Show will be appearing on Friday March 10th. It will be the band’s third trip to the Regal- having last played there in January 2020.

“We had such a good time last time we were there – the crowd was honestly among the most enthusiastic we have ever had.  We had such lovely comments afterwards,” said Clinton today.

Cleverly Everly also features Clint’s brother Stan, his wife Uta and lead guitarist Steve Craig.

As the name implies, the band concentrates on the unforgettable music of the Everly Brothers, whilst also dipping into the rich musical archive of the 60s, playing numbers from artists like Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley and The Shadows.

The show also includes comedy and elements that help evoke memories of the 60s.

Stan said: “It is more than just a musical show.  Our sole aim is to leave people with a huge smile on their face.”

Tickets for the show are available now, either by ringing the theatre on 01643 – 706430 or visiting the theatre’s website, www.regaltheatre.co.uk.
