YOUNG people in West Somerset are being reminded that the deadline to apply for The Exmoor Young Chef Competition has been extended until July 14.

The Exmoor Young Chef Competition, organised by the Minehead Rotary Club, Visit Exmoor, and Butlins, and sponsored by Bidfood, will take place at West Somerset College in Minehead on October 5, 2024.

Now in its third year, the competition aims to inspire young chefs aged 13 to 17 from the Greater Exmoor area.

While they have some participants, the competition now requires more youngsters to make the competition more exciting. To encourage more entries, the deadline has been extended from June 30 to July 14.
