A fire broke out on Tuesday, April 18, in outbuildings belonging to a property in East Anstey. causing severe damage to three outbuildings which were used for storage.
Dorset and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews from stations at South Molton and Bampton attended the scene, where they found all three buildings were alight.
Fire crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used to tackle the blaze to ensure there were no hotspots left and to enable the turning over of smouldering debris.
The fire is believed to have been started accidentally, with a weed burner being a potential cause of the flames.
The blaze was declared extinguished at 4.14pm, before crews returned to their stations.
Although the property was badly damaged and contents were lost, nobody was injured in the incident.
