Letter to the Editor: I am seriously concerned about the huge posts which have appeared, set in along the half finished cycle path between Dunster and Minehead.
I have championed (against popular feeling) the creation of a safe cycling route and defended the Highways Authority despite the cost, queues and frustration of those trying to get to work.
However, I believe that blocking sea and town views with an over-large, proliferation of signage, is a step too far! They would be a regrettable intrusion for locals and visitors who come to this lovely area and “Entrance to Exmoor”.
I appeal to our councillors to fight this overkill and work with the authority towards reducing urbanisation. It is not too late!
