Special deals and great events are on offer at many Exmoor eateries this February as part of 2023's Exmoor Food Fest.

This year's food festival was launched on January 25 by TV Masterchef Judge William Sitwell at the Farmers Arms in Combe Florey.

The celebrations will continue throughout February as participating restaurants offer special deals and host events to showcase Exmoor's 'amazing' hospitality.

Elke Koessling-Winzer, founder and organiser of the Exmoor Food Fest said: "It’s been a tough few years for everyone and we can all do with a bit of cheering up. And the return of a month-long celebration of our region’s best hospitality will do just that”

"We are delighted that  Masterchef judge William Sitwell joined us at the launch to welcome guests and chefs.”

Venues taking part in the festival rage from country pubs to Michelin Guide listed restaurants. This year the festival is said to see the return of firm favourites and the arrival of exciting newcomers.

The industry-led event was started in 2015, and other than when Covid made it impossible to be held, it has taken place every year since. Organisers say the festival is a great opportunity for locals and visitors to discover new restaurants and venues, and that it helps the hospitality sector to survive.
