Nine-year-old Emily Atkins, who lives in Exford, has raised an amazing £940 for the Little Princess Trust by having her long tresses cut.

She went to Roxy’s Hair, of Minehead on Wednesday, November 17, and had 16 inches cut off.

Emily would like to thank everyone who sponsored her.

The Little Princess Trust makes wigs from real hair for children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. The wigs are free and the hair is given by kind-hearted people like Emily.
