CARHAMPTON Cricket Club will be hosting their annual music night on Saturday (June 8) on the village recreation ground, close to the A39 and with views of the Bristol Channel.

The fund-raising event will follow the team’s home local derby clash against Watchet in the West Somerset Cricket League.

There will be live music from Toby Hafter-Smith, a cheese supper, and ‘a welcoming atmosphere’ on offer from 7.30pm until late.

A club spokesperson said: “All are welcome so why not go along and support your local cricket team.

“All of the proceeds will go toward the running costs of Carhampton Cricket Club.”
