THE wildflower meadows of the Hollam Estate, Dulverton, will be the venue for the Exmoor Meadows Day, organised by the Exmoor Society as part of a nation-wide celebration on Saturday, July 6.

The event will highlight the beauty of the estate’s wildlife-rich meadows with walks and talks explaining how to create and manage wildflower terrain, and discover insects and other wildlife.

Meadows Day talks, information and a guided walk will be held at 11am and 2pm. The 45-minute walk on uneven ground will require stout shoes and the event is not suitable for dogs.

Park at Hollam House, Dulverton. From Dulverton take Hollam Lane and the second left, to park in the yard.
