PREPARE to test your limits with Mission: Unbreakable, a commando course designed to push you to the edge on Exmoor next month.

This is no ordinary obstacle run as competitors will be scaling heights, taking leaps of faith, and facing a gruelling mix of mud, fire, water, and ice.

Those who complete this challenge will earn the title of 'Unbreakable'.

Those expecting just another 'mud run', will be faced with something very different. The 10km course has been expertly crafted in collaboration with the 24 Commando Royal Engineer Regiment, stationed at RMB Chivenor, in Braunton, North Devon.

It's not just about the physical challenge. Those who take part will be making a real difference as the funds raised will got towards providing vital hospice care for those facing life-limiting illnesses like cancer, offering comfort and support during the toughest of times.

More information on some of the obstacles that await entrants is available and while this isn't the full list (and some obstacles may alter, depending on safety), it will give people a chance to see what’s in store.

Sessions start with a commando warm-up, which involves getting the blood pumping and preparing your body for the immense task that lies ahead.

Next participants will face a minefield hop, a leg-draining minefield of tyres for you to hop through, the river rush, where you’ll wade through waist-deep water. It'll be cold, it'll be slippery and you will be running up stream, and tunnel trouble, where you’ll crawl through a low tunnel, against the tide of a river coming in the other direction.

Mission: Unbreakable, takes place on Sunday, October 13 at 10am and can last up to seven hours.

The event takes place on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, at North Molton Sports and Community Centre.
