THE Regal Theatre in Minehead held a successful open day to celebrate its 90th Anniversary on Saturday, July 6.
The team was delighted to welcome a steady stream of enthusiastic visitors who came along to join in with the celebrations.
Many visitors indulged in the amazing array of homemade cakes and biscuits lovingly made and donated by volunteers.
More than 50 people took theatre tours for a glimpse behind the scenes, including a fascinating demonstration by the sound and lighting team, and later there were screenings of the original Pathe News coverage of the Regal Cinema opening in 1934.
A theatre spokesman said: “Our thanks go to everyone who came along and to our volunteers who made it all possible.”
