WATCHET Community Cinema will be showing Wilding, the film privides a powerful glimpse into a fading landscape that, against all odds, is revitalised and ultimately flourishes.

Based on Isabella Tree’s best-selling book, Wilding tells the remarkable story of a young couple who revive their failing 400-year-old estate by letting nature take control.

They set the land back to the wild and entrust its recovery to a motley mix of animals.

It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant re-wilding experiments in Europe.

It will be shown from 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 23 at the community cinema, in East Quay.
