EXFORD and Simonsbath Flower and Produce Show hosted another successful day of events on Saturday, August 24.

The annual show included a BBQ, raffle, auction of produce, as well as several activity stalls before live music was performed later in the day.

Micky Steer, a long-standing resident of Exford, opened the show this year.

The main marquee was full of locally grown vegetables, flowers, home produce and crafts.

Exford First School Gardening Club entered for the first time this year and were awarded first prize for their carrots. 

A representative of the Flower and Produce Show committee said: “Well done to all the children who worked hard growing them.

“The show committee would like to thank everyone who entered and supported the event and all who worked so hard erecting marquees, manning the stalls and donating time and prizes.”
