A stretch of the A39 near Quantox Head is shut both ways due to a fallen tree.

Somerset County Council's travel advice service, Travel Somerset, said that: "Urgent update the A39 is closed at East Quantoxhead due to fallen tree. Team is on the way but this may take an hour or so. Please plan ahead."

The closure is said to affect traffic between Williton and Nether Stowey with traffic slowing to halt.
