FIRE Crews from four separate stations raced to respond to a huge straw barn blaze.

The response came after an agricultural building in Wiveliscombe, containing 20 tonnes of straw, went up in flames.

Crews from Wiveliscombe, Bampton, Wellington and Williton responded to the incident, arriving on the scene to find the barn “well alight.”

Fire fighters used rakes and hoses to dampen down and extinguish the fire.
