Four people were rescued by fire fighters after a crash involving three vehicles.
Fire fighters from three stations were mobilised after a road traffic collision on the A39 main road near Cannington on Friday, July 14.
Three fire engines were deployed from Bridgwater and Burnham on Sea stations, with a heavy rescue vehicle arriving from Taunton to provide additional support.
Four casualties had become trapped in the vehicles, and emergency workers set about freeing them with hydraulic cutting equipment.
All four individuals were freed from their vehicles, before being assessed by paramedics. They remained in the care of the ambulance service while fire crews made the scene safe.
Avon and Somerset Police then arrived to take charge of the incident.
