Applications are now open for Somerset Film’s popular free BFI Film Club for 12 to 15-year-olds in Minehead this October.
This British Film Institute (BFI) Film Club offers high-quality learning about film and wider screen media to aspiring young filmmakers. The Club is led by professional filmmakers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop creativity, and engage with the best of world cinema.
Participants will learn exciting skills such as scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting. There will also be a screening of the final films for friends and family at the Regal Theatre in Minehead.
“My Son had the best time ever and it has really helped him start thinking seriously about all the different careers in the film industry. Dates: Saturday 22nd, and every day from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th October (10am - 4pm), plus the screening on Saturday 5th November at The Regal Theatre, Minehead.
