A STAFF member at RGB Building Supplies will have his head shaved as part of a fundraising event at the Wiveliscombe branch in aid of charity, Mind.
Tradesmen, women and members of the community are urged to support to join them on Old Brewery Road to help boost proceeds on Friday, September 27.
Josh Fyfe will be having his head shaved at midday as a centrepiece of the fundraising activities. Inspired by friends who have faced mental health challenges, Josh is committed to helping the leading mental health charity provide vital support to people experiencing difficulties.
The day kicks off at 7.30am when representatives from industry suppliers Reisser Screws, Karndean Flooring, and Independent Slate will be showcasing their products and chatting to customers.
Visitors will also have the chance to win a selection of prizes, including tools, and vouchers generously donated by local businesses. Bacon rolls will be available in return for a donation.
Josh Fyfe commented: “I am grateful to everyone who has already contributed to this cause. Donations make a significant difference to the charity, and I hope this event can further support the invaluable work that Mind does for the Somerset community.”
Mind is a leading mental health charity dedicated to providing support and guidance. They offer a range of services including confidential support lines, local advice and information, and advocacy for those needing help.
