New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Millfield Cafe at Unit 12 Millfield Industrial, Millfield, Chard, Somerset; rated on April 14

• Rated 5: A Lusitana Restaurant at 2a High Street, Chard, Somerset; rated on April 9
• Rated 5: The Potting Shed and The Potting Shed Cafe at Chard Plant & Garden Centre, Cuttifords Door, Combe St Nicholas, Chard; rated on April 7
It means that of Somerset's 991 similar establishments with ratings, 825 (83%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
