A POLE which is to be renewed by Openreach in Armoor Lane, Exton, will result in the road being closed for six hours between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm on October 31.

SUMMERWAY, Cutcombe, will be closed from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on October 14 while Openreach carries out poling works.

CABLING works by Openreach will mean the closure of Parsons Street, Porlock, between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm daily from October 28 to November 1.

POLE renewal and tree cutting works by Openreach will cause the closure of Cutcombe Hill and Higher Park Lane, Cutcombe, on October 28, 29, and 30 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm daily.

BROOK Street, Great House Street, and Jubilee Terrace, in Timberscombe, will be closed while Openreach carries out cabling works between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm daily from October 28 to November 1.

OVERNIGHT closures of the Minehead to Williton road and Huish Lane, in Old Cleeve, will take place while National Grid changes and erects poles between 7 pm and 6 am daily from October 15 to 25.

PLANNING applications received by Exmoor National Park Authority include 6/29/24/007 and 6/29/24/008LB for work at Myrtle Cottage, Bossington, 6/8/24/003LB to replace windows at North Hawkwell Farm, Timberscombe, and 6/12/24/001 affecting Emsdale House, Elworthy, the details of which can be viewed at the authority’s Dulverton headquarters or on its website.
