IRNHAM Road, Minehead, is to be closed for five days from July 29 to August 2 while Wessex Water carries out supply separation works.

WORK by Kier on behalf of Somerset Highways to replace a damaged gully in Castle Hill, Upton, will result in the road being closed for five days from August 12 to 16.

SOMERSET Council has authorised the closure of Cleeve Hill, Watchet, to motor vehicles from August 3 for five years from a point close to its junction with Saxon Close. Access arrangements will be discussed with residents and businesses.

EXMOOR National Park Authority has received planning application 6/3/24/004 for the change of use of the George Inn public house, Brompton Regis, to six-bedroom self-contained holiday accommodation, which can be viewed at the authority’s headquarters in Dulverton.
