The weather was kind and this was a day to remember, an ideal way to kick start the new rugby season that gets underway in just a few weeks time.

Minehead Rugby Club is very much a part of the community and this is reflected in the fact that their junior and mini rugby section can boast a membership of well over 200 mad keen youngsters - with over 30 of them being girls.

The £872 raised on the day will be split equally between MBRFC and The Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital where the monies will go towards comfy chairs for those receiving chemotherapy.
