THE LIBERAL Democrats have selected Benet Allen as the parliamentary candidate for Filton and Bradley Stoke as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces a General Election will be held on July 4.

Mr Allen lives in Minehead, Somerset, and will be campaigning for action to tackle the cost of living crisis and the NHS, which has been described as being “on its knees”, and the sewage scandal.
