OPENREACH are to close Dunster Steep, from the junction with Dunster Steep New Steep and the junction with Minehead Road, to carry out pole test.

The works are expected to commence on 22nd September 2024 and last until 22nd September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 - 11:00 for a total of 3 hours.

THE NATIONAL Grid are to close Jury Road from 25 metres south-east of the junction with Hollam Lane, south-eastwards for a total distance of 70 metres to carry out tree trimming works on behalf of National Grid.

The closure becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 18th September 2024 and last until 18th September 2024 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.

KIER to close Withiel Lane, from 672 metres north-west of the junction with Bessom Cross to Robbery Gate, westwards for a total distance of 109 metres to allow Kier to carry out jetting and CCTV works on behalf of Somerset Council.

The closure becomes effective on 30thAugust 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th September 2024 and last until 6th September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 8 hours.

WALES & West Utilities to close Dugdale Street, from the junction with Dugdale Street to West Street Access, eastwards for a total distance of 23 metres to enable Wales & West Utilities to install a new gas connection.

The closure becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 18th September 2024 and last until 20th September 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.

KIER to close Beech Tree To Broadwood Road, from 1141 metres north of the junction with Churchtown To Beech Tree, northwards for a total distance of 28 metres, to enable Kier to carry out local drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The closure becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 16th September 2024 and last until 20th September 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.

The closure becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 16th September 2024 and last until 16th September 2024 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.

WALES & West Utilities to close Dugdale Street, from the junction with Dugdale Street to West Street Access, eastwards for a total distance of 23 metres, to enable Wales & West Utilities to install a new gas connection. The closure becomes effective on 30thAugust 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 8th September 2024 and last until 8th September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 - 12:00 for a total of 4 hours.

OPENREACH to close Bossington Lane, from the junction with Dunster Steep New Steep to the junction with Old Lane. A total distance of 296 metres, to enable Open reach to carry out gully sucking works to clean boxes and jet ducts.

The closure becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 16th September 2024 and last until 16th September 2024 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours..

HEIDELBERG to close Rodway, from the junction with Cannington Bypass Roundabout to the junction with Stradlings Hill; Combwich Road, from the junction with Stradlings Hill to the junction with Brookside Road; Withycombe Hill, from the junction with Brookside Road to the junction with Knaplock Lane; Road to Hinkley Point, from the junction with Knaplock Lane to the junction with Bonson Road; Clayland Corner, from the junction with Bonson Road to the junction with Clayland Corner Farm Approach; and Hinkley Point Road, from the junction with Clayland Corner Farm Approach to the junction with Hinkley point Road Roundabout.Atotal distance of 7,850 metres.

The closures will enable Heidelberg to carry out resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways. The Order becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months.

The works are expected to commence on 17th September 2024 and last until 19th October 2024 between the hours of 18:30 - 07:30 Monday to Friday nights only for a total of 32 nights.
