TREE cutting and cabling works by Openreach will result in the daily closure of Halse Lane, Winsford, for 19 days from September 9 to 27.

POLE replacement and cabling works by Openreach will see a four-hour closure of Porlock Weir Road, Porlock, between 8 am and 12 noon on September 23.

SANCTUARY Lane, Brompton Regis, will be closed between 8 am and 5 pm on September 23 and 24 while Kier carries out jetting works for Somerset Highways, and will close again for 24 hours on September 24 and 25 for Kier to replace a manhole on behalf of South West Water.

OPENREACH will be replacing a pole in Carhampton Road, Carhampton, on September 25, resulting in the closure of the road for six hours from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.

TWO days of closures have been approved between 8.30 am and 3.30 pm for Cats Castle Hill, Elworthy, on September 24 and 25, while Openreach carries out poling and cabling works.

A SEVEN-hour closure has been authorised in Monksway, Old Cleeve, between 8.30 am and 3.30 pm on September 26 for Openreach to replace a pole.

KIER will be carrying out jetting works on behalf of Somerset Highways in Bury Hill, Brompton Regis, on September 26 resulting in its closure from 8 am to 5 pm.

A POLE which needs to be replaced by Openreach in Higher Lodge via Willet to Willet Lodge, Elworthy, will see the road closed between 8.30 am and 3.30 pm on September 27.

ROCKS Cottage to Forches Cross, Clatworthy, will be closed for six days from September 12 to 17 while Wessex Water installs a new air pump in a mains.

WESSEX Water replacing a meter and valve in Pardlestone Lane, Kilve, will see the road closed for three days from September 11 to 13.

DRAINAGE works by Kier on behalf of Somerset Council will cause the closure of Chitcombe Rocks Lane, Huish Champflower, for five days from September 9 to 13.

LISCOMBE to Spire Cross, Winsford, will be closed daily between 8.30 am and 2.30 pm for 19 days from September 9 to 27 while Openreach carries out tree cutting and cabling works.

EXMOOR National Park Authority has received planning applications 6/36/24/002 for a garden shed in Lyddons Cottage, Upton, and WTCA 24/15 for tree work at All Saints Church, Selworthy, which can be viewed at its headquarters in Dulverton or via its website.
