Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 8pm January 2 to 5am December 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm November 20 to 6am November 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 to 25 - lane closure for electrical works.

M5, from 8pm November 27 to 6am November 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 25 to junction 26, lane closures for barrier works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
