Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm November 7 to 6am December 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 - 24 lane closures for resurfacing.
• A30, from 8pm October 27 2022 to 5am April 4 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 8pm December 5 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 25 to 26 lane closure for barrier works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
