MINEHEAD Barbarians are hosting A Family Fun and Registration Day on Saturday, August 17.

The free entry event will be held at the MBRFC ground between 11 am and 7pm during the course of which there will be a bar, music,  barbecue, home made cakes, inflatables. The  Fortitude Gym will be there all day in addition to which the Minehead Fire Brigade will be visiting (depending on any callouts)

In conjunction with the Funday the club is also holding two touch rugby tournaments, for the Minis, one for those aged between 7 and 10 years and the other for those aged 11 and over with games starting at 12pm

In the afternoon there is a Mixed Touch Rugby tournament 6 a side with each team to have a maximum of 3 current senior MBRFC male players and at least one female and one 11 to 16 years old in their team. Games start at 1.30pm .

There are entry fees for the tournament aspect as a fundraiser with all monies raised to be split equally between MBRFC and The Beacon Centre at MPH where the money raised will go towards comfy chairs for those receiving chemotherapy.
