ROADWATER Seconds ran out winners by 130 runs when they hosted Over Stowey Seconds in Division Four of the West Somerset Cricket League.
Asked to bat Roadwater openers Ashley Burr and Mark Bishop took the total onto 47 before the former was out for 15. Bishop then added 41 with Luke Gould (26) before he departed for 36.
The most productive partnership was between Andrew Whitley who made a patient 27 off 77 balls and Paul Beaver who hit 56 off 32 balls who added 68 together for the fifth wicket, before Roadwater were all out for 233 in 37 overs.
For the visitors James Fraser claimed three for 27 while Oli Washer ended with three for 52 and Tyler Coleman two for 36.
When Over Stowey replied they lost opener Mark Sortwell run out, soon after which Luke Gould saw the back of Washer.
Tyler Coleman and James Fraser added 30 before the latter was out for 13. Coleman saw up his half century before he was out for 62 off 65 balls with 10 fours and a six while there was little further resistance as Stowey were all out for 103 in 24.5 overs.
Simon Aspey with four for 22 was the pick of the bowlers.
