BROMPTON Ralph have been drawn away to Staplegrove in the first round of the 20-overs a side Baker Cup cricket competition on Monday, May 13.

The big clash in round two is the tie between Taunton and Taunton Deane who go into the event as one of the favourites.

First round draw, to be played May 13: Taunton B v Shaftesbury Road ( Match 1), North Curry v Wedmore (2), Staplegrove v Brompton Ralph (3), Spaxton v North Petherton B (4), Trull A v Middlezoy (5), Bishops Hull v Taunton St Andrews B (6).

Second round draw, to be played May 27: Match 7 Taunton A v Taunton Deane A, 8 Winner of 5 v North Petherton A, 9 Chard v Wembdon, 10 2 v Wellington, 11 Ilminster v Bridgwater, 12 4 v Taunton St Andrews A, 13 3 v Yeovil, 14 1 v 6.

Third round: June 6, Winner of 7 v 8, 16 Winner of 9 v 10, 17 Winner of 11 v 12, Match 18 Winner of 13 v 14. Semi-final, July l (at Taunton Deane): Winner of 15 v 16. Semi-final, July 8 (Taunton St Andrews): Winner of 17 v 18.The final will be played at the County Ground, Taunton on 12 August 12.
