WINSFORD have a 27-point lead at the top of the second division in the West Somerset Cricket League after winning by seven wickets at home to Cahampton.
Lawrence Priest steered Winsford to victory with a knock of 51, which included six fours, while Christopher Turner made 23 and Ivo McFarlane 20.
Earlier Carhampton had scored 118 all out with James Snell being their top scorer with 30. Dan Bowley took 3-24, Will Palmer 2-25 and Pat Crane 2-4.
Lydeard St Lawrence gained an eight-wicket home success against Stoodleigh who were all out for 120 with Shane Wyatt finishing with figures of 4-11.
Lydeard lost two early wickets before Mark Hannaford (64) and Wyatt (33) took control of the game.
Roadwater lost for the first time this season when they went down by 62 runs at home to Huish Champflower who scored 189 with M Kidner scoring 65 and J Fyfe 54. J Foster took 4-30.
Roadwater never seriously recovered from the loss of an early wicket and were bowled out for 127 with O Buckingham taking 3-34, while M Pownall, M Clapham and T Jenkins snapped up two wickets apiece.
Watchet, who are lying second, did not have a game and have a match in hand on the leaders Winsford.
