WATCHET Town Reserves play their first home game of the season in the second division of the Taunton & District Saturday Football League when they meet Nether Stowey Reserves on Saturday, November 9 (2.30).
”The first team have had so many home games this season it’s just not been possible for the Reserves to play at the Memorial Ground,” said Nick Sully, a member of the club’s management committee.
Watchet Reserves are lying fourth in the table with five wins from their eight fixtures, while Stowey are tenth, having won only one of their opening seven matches.
Taunton side Galmington are top of the Premier Division. They have won eight of their nine matches and have an eight-point lead over second-placed Stogursey.
Galmington are away to Highridge United Reserves in the Somerset Intermediate Cup while Stogursey are away to Shepton Mallet Reserves in the same competition.
Minehead Reserves, who have yet to win a match in the top division, entertain Haywood Village in the cup while Porlock visit Axbridge.
Alcombe Rovers are away to Dunwear United in the first division while Exmoor Rangers visit Galmington Reserves.
Minehead Colts are home to Racehorse Rovers who have a 100 per cent record in the second division.
