PORLOCK Ladies will be looking to keep up the pressure at the top of Division Three South in the Somerset Women’s Football League when they play at home to local rivals Watchet Town Ladies this coming Sunday, November 9 (2p.m.).

Porlock go into the match as clear favourites after beating the leaders Staplegrove 3-0 at home last weekend. They are now only three points behind the Taunton side, both sides having played the same number of games - seven.

Watchet also go into the derby match with Porlock on the back of a 3-2 away victory over Wellington Ladies who are finding it tough going again this season.

Staplegrove are also in action this weekend when they play at home against struggling Crewkerne Rangers who are bottom and have yet to pick up a point.

In the only other match in this division, Pen Mill Ladies Reserves are home to Combe St Nicholas Ladies. In total, only seven teams are playing in Division Three South.

However, 12 teams are competing in Division One which is being headed by Wells City Ladies who have opened up a three-point lead over Nailsea Women.

Improving Wellington Wildcats are also in action in this division, playing at home to Portishead Ladies Reserves.
