CONGRATULAION to Watchet Town FC Under 9s, who won the Europa League at the annual Staplegrove Tournament in Taunton on Saturday.

The Watchet team made hard work of it though, scraping through their group with four points, enduring a nervy penalty shootout victory in the semi final.

Then in the final they threatened the finger nails of those supporters watching with a backs to the wall performance that eventually saw them, after what felt like an eternity, claim a 2-1 victory.

In the end not many can argue that they weren't deserved winners of the trophy. Well done Watchet Under 9s!
