THE first three players all scored 38 points in the Sunday Stableford Competition at Oake Manor Golf Club.
On count back to an exciting competition, Jack Jones came first, Alexander Pearson was second while club vice captain Richard Goodman was third.
The ladies played a nine-hole Stableford Competition on Tuesday for the Fran Thompson Trophy. Pam Kinnear won the trophy with 19 points, beating Pam Akers, also 19 points, on count back.
The full results were: Division One winner Pam Akers with 19 points, Suzanne Ward second with 18 points and third Charlotte Bolton, also 18 points.
Pam Kinnear won the trophy and Division Two, scoring 19 points, Jenny Swann came second with 18 points while Mary Beakes was third with 17 points.
Former Somerset cricketer Ian Blackwell won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford Competition by having a better back nine score than Jammie Biddiscombe, both scoring 40 points. Matthew Forknell came third with8 35 points.
