A further two goals from Sparks and Tisshaw piled the misery on Winscombe just after half time. The best moment of the game came when Lancaster scored her 4th. This goal was Lancaster's 1,250th goal for Minehead ladies hockey club - a fantastic achievement and testament to a great west Somerset goal scorer and sports woman. She added a personal 5th goal moments later.

Goals for Tisshaw and Cooper followed by a quick fire double from Sparks, brought the score to 16-0. Then youngster Elissa finished well for her first goal for Minehead. The demolition finished with a final goal from Sparks for her double hat trick.

The Julians Laundry player of the match was Denise Lancaster. After match teas were sponsored by The Dessert Club.
