MINEHEAD new chairman Robbie Hopkins says he's in no hurry to fill vacancies on the club's committee.
He has already installed Steve Jackson as the director of sport, having been involved in the club's youth set-up for more than ten years, Becky Ely as finance director and Carly Boney as new welfare officer.
Hopkins, who has taken over from Mark Vickers, chairman, said: "I will be looking to fill more vacancies in the next few weeks. It is important we get the right people in the right roles. There's is no hurry."
Hopkins also plans to sit down with first team manager Craig Carr at the end of the season to see whether he wants to continue in the role.
He also revealed that he has received inquiries from others interested in the manager's job. "Nothing will be decided on this until the end of the season," he said.
He added: "I was pleased with the 2-2 draw with Peasedown Miners Welfare on Saturday. That was a good display against a very good team."
Hopkins has already stated that the club's aim is for the first team to establish itself in Division One of the county league. At the moment the side is in the lower section of the division.
