MINEHEAD Cycling Club members had what was claimed to be the first dry roads of the year for their Sunday ride across the Levels.
The route was planned by Jayne Chanter and was a 60-mile loop including Creech St Micheal, Langport and the best bits of the Levels.
For some of the group it was their longest ride of the year so far, having only a few hills on the route was welcome.
Pace setter Rob Poirrier said:"A brisk pace kept us warm in the cold.”
