MINEHEAD Cycling Club members were out in force at the first round of the 2024-25 South West Cyclo Cross season on Sunday.

Conditions were good on a dry and fast course which made for close racing. Matthew Waddams was first up, 7thin the very strong Vet 50 class with Steve Toogood not far behind in 12th.

Bonita Waddams made the climbs look easy to take 4thin the Juniors. Louise Crossman continued her domination of the V60 class taking an unchallenged win.

Nathan Bale, 7thin the Novice lapped very consistently, making no mistakes. Stephen Crossman was 9thin the V60, David Bray was just shaded into 3rd by a few seconds.
