LYDEARD St Lawrence climbed to fourth in Division Two of the West Somerset Cricket League after they beat Roadwater who occupy third place by five wickets on Saturday afternoon.
Roadwater won the toss and choosing to bat first scored 244 for nine in their 40 allocated overs.
After losing opener Ben Luxton early on Mark Hannaford who made 77 joined Tom Meek (32) and the pair saw up the hundred.
Tom Westcott then made 35 after which Oliver Luxton with an unbeaten 37 and Josh Alford who remained not out 19 saw the hosts to 248 for five in the 35th over
