WELLINGTON Rugby Club fielded two sides at the Bournemouth Festival. The Under 15s met Maidendown in their first match and lost out to the last play of the game.

Next up were Bournemouth and Wellington had to rue missed scoring chances as they went down 22-9. They also lost their third game narrowly against Maidenham 24-19.

Wellington Under 13s won their first game against Bournemouth by two tries to one. They beat Newport OBs 5-1 in their second game but lost 6-0 to Vectis of the Isle of Wight in their final game. Full reports next week.
