WIVELISCOMBE are still without a win in Counties One Western West after losing 28-20 at home to Pirates Amateurs at The Rec yesterday (Sat).
The home side appeared to have the game won after playing up the slope in the first half, leading 20-5 with tries by Sam Habberfield and Richard Baker, with Dan Quick kicking two conversions and two penalties.
But Pirates came storming back in the second half to score 23 unanswered points, leaving Wiveliscombe second from bottom in the table with only two points this season.
