MINEHEAD Barbarians U16s secured their second league win when they beat Yeovil 48-10 away.

The Barbarians scored early when White burst away to the line. Swann at full back impressed as he burst forward, to make space for Cudmore to race over.

James stormed forward from a switch play, and when the ball went wide, Bishop scored a superb try on his debut. Another fine score came when Ahern threw a miss pass to Swann who chipped before collecting to dot down. Yeovil scored a try just before the intereval.

With his forwards on the front foot Browne found a gap, sold a dummy and raced on to score. Another strong carry by White made ground, but it was flanker Lobb who burst through tackles to run in from distance. Then Cudmore scored again.

Ahern was a positive influence, with his passing and kicking, and when Tanner came on at prop and was immediately effective.

Again Yeovil came back before eventually being rewarded with a second try.

Barbarians drove Yeovil back and won a penalty. Taken quickly, the ball moved away with Krawczyk powering up, then Ahern saw a gap and shot through to score the final try.

Player of the day: Harry Swann; Barbarians of the match: Will Bishop.
