BELL All Stars stranglehold on the Premier League in the Watchet & District Skittles League continued in their away match against QC Guys.
Andy Trunks scored a superb 130, ably backed up by Barrie Jones 117 and Martyn Ketchen 115 in their 80-pin trouncing of the hosts. Stars third hand of the evening saw all six players record a spare in a total of 81, Archie Walsh topped the Guys scoring with 106. Second placed Allsorts had Shane Coxhead among the pins as he knocked 129 as they ran out 29 pin winners against Three Ferrets whose Tyrone Ash topped the alley with 133.
Rebels Brad Lock hit 120 in their 50-pin away win over White Horse Stallions whose Malcolm Bennett scored 95 and Bottoms Up Nathan Glynn 124 steered them to a much needed three points as they overcame Phoenix Knights by 49 pins, Connor Jeromson scoring 118.
Steve Bosley scored an impressive 127 for Jack as they notched up a 59 pin home win against Castaways whose Nick Lane hit 104.
In Division A, a match winning 125 from Has Beens' Mark Clausen saw them to a 50-pin success to complete the double over leaders Combwich Otters whose Rod Young hit 103. Roger Willis scored 109 for Williton Club as they slipped to another defeat and into the relegation places, losing by 38 to fellow strugglers Dungbeetles.
In Division B Wyndham Warriors kept up the pressure at the top of the table as a score of 117 from Phil Trunks led them to a 40 pin home win over Footy Fockers, Wayne Bousefield hitting 105 and a score of 101 from Simon Thomson saw Wyndham Pinheads continue to impress after a 26 pin home win over Haddon Hillbillies who had Ian Rottenbury top with 102. Mark Mossman topped the alley for Dizzys Boys in their four-pin victory over Rams.
